In 2nd grade we will be studying

English:  Parts of speech (nouns, verbs, adjectives), punctuation, subjects/predicates of a sentence, complete sentences, and complete sentences.

Science Animals, Magnets, the States of Matter, The Water cycle and Weather, Storms, Plants and their resources

Math: addition and subtraction with and without regrouping, time, fractions, measurement

Social Studies Egypt, China, Maps and globes, famous Americans, Economics, Native Americans
