When your child enters second grade these are some of the expectations of your child.
Students should be able to write in complete sentences. Write at least four sentences and stay on topic.
Be able to write all letters A-Z neatly.
Be able to follow two step directions.
Accurately solve addition and subtraction facts 0-10.
Be able to read a book on their level with fluently and expression.
Your child will be expected to work more independently in second grade. Be prepared!
Have a positive CAN-DO attitude!

| Reading: | AR, Fiction, Non-Fiction, Parts of Speech, Flat Stanley |
