All York County students are provided free transportation. Students are expected to maintain the same level of discipline and behavior as they would in the classroom. Whether on the bus or at the bus stop, the behavior of students is the responsibility of the school administrator. Students who violate the rules of school conduct or specific bus rules, will be disciplined accordingly. Consequences apply to students who misbehave while going from home to the bus stop or from the bus stop to home.
BUS CHANGEIf students occasionally need to ride a bus different from their regular bus, parents must send in a note so that your child may be given a bus pass. Bus passes should be taken care of in the office first thing in the morning. No student will be allowed to ride a bus different from his/her assigned bus without a bus pass from the office
If you wish to make a permanent change in your child's transportation arrangements (picked up or dropped off on a daily basis at an address other than your own) a letter from you must be on file in the Transportation Office. You may drop your letter off at the school office and we will forward it to the Transportation Department, or you may send it directly to the following address:

Students who are brought to school by private means of transportation, should arrive no earlier than 8:45 a.m. Teachers have assigned responsibilities prior to the beginning of school and should not be expected to "baby-sit" students. Students who go home by means of private transportation must be picked up promptly at the end of the school day (3:20 p.m.)
When picking up or bringing children to school, we request that you park in the two end parking lots and walk your children to the school entrance. Please do not park in front of the building. This area is designated for bus traffic during specified times of the day so that we may safely load and unload students.
