Safe Schools

Ensuring the safety and security of Seaford Elementary students and staff is an important concern. All outside doors, except for the front entrance, will be locked during the school day. Visitors and volunteers must enter through the office area, sign in/out, and wear an identifying badge at all times they are in the building. An adult, other than staff, without a name badge should be reported to a teacher or the principal.

Various drills, fire, tornado, bus evacuation, and intruder will be conducted throughout the school year. These drills should be taken seriously so that students and staff know what to do in the event of a real emergency.

Threats to harm a student or staff member should be taken seriously and reported immediately. The school division takes a no-nonsense stance towards individuals who make threats to harm another individual or division property.

Safety is the responsibility of the entire Seaford Elementary School community!
