a.          Donations –

·             $500.00 from Brian Richards of Wal-Mart in Yorktown to DES to improve the landscaping around the school.

·             $10.00 from Carolyn McAllister to GMS.

·             $100.00 from the GHS Athletic Booster Club for GHS varsity cheerleading.

·             The following grants were awarded from the York Foundation for Public Education to: WMES, 2 grants $495; SES, 2 grants $209; TES, 1 grant, $275; MVES, 1 grant $400; YES, 1 grant $365; YHS, 1 grant $400; THS, 1 grant $215; BHS, 1 grant $350 and YRA, 1 grant $400.

·             Computer monitors, Micron desktop CPUs, laptops and a server (value $233,461.00) from U.S. Coast Guard to York County School Division.

·             History/social science textbooks, teacher editions, and a variety of ancillary educational materials (value $10,000) to support the history/social science instructional program at York County School Division for students in grades K-5 from Chip Marston, Regional Representative/Pearson Scott Foresman Publishing Company.

 

 

b.          Consideration of a motion to authorize the Division Superintendent to make a one-time payment to staff on the teacher salary schedule in the amount of $200.00 per full-time staff member (pro-rated for part-time staff members) as funded in the FY05 Operating Budget.

c.           Consideration of a motion to approve the Gifted Education Advisory Committee (GEAC) Membership for the 2004-2005 Academic Year. (Reading File A-1)

d.          Consideration of a motion to approve the Secondary Program of Studies Registration and Information Guide 2005-2007. (Reading File A-2)
