Welcome Panthers!

What can my child expect this year in Mr. Holzshu’s class?

My wife, Nicole, and I moved here after spending 20 years in Alaska, where I taught 7th Grade Social Studies and Language Arts at Mears Middle School (also the “Panthers”). We moved to Williamsburg because of its excellent reputation and warm weather. Nicole teaches 4th Grade at Waller Mill Elementary, so at times, we have siblings in each of our respective classes. We've been blessed with the arrival of Savanna, our vivacious daughter. She’s life’s most enjoyable challenge, providing us with lots to do and see, as well as a chance to test our wits and patience. I enjoy the rigors of creating the Queens Lake Yearbook (keep an eye open for our order-by-mail program), head the Social Studies Department, and help coach the wrestling team at Bruton High School. The entire Pathfinder team is expecting a great year. Please feel welcome to contact me if you have any questions.

Best of luck this year,
Erich Holzshu.
