Our PTA, teachers, and staff work closely to provide quality education for our children.  Information on current and upcoming activities and events will come home monthly in a newsletter titled “Hoofprints”.  Every parent, guardian, and grandparent is invited to become a member of the PTA.  Membership opportunities are available at Open House and on Back To School Nights, or by contacting any committee member.  Membership will entitle you to valuable parenting information through the State PTA at vapta.org, and the National PTA at pta.org.  There are many volunteer opportunities at Mt. Vernon.  If you interested in volunteering or have any questions about the PTA, please contact one of the Executive Committee members.
