Supply List

Happy Summer!

We hope that you are all enjoying the beautiful weather and relaxing before another school year starts. As you prepare to join us in 5th grade, take a few moments each day to work on the following areas – you’ll become a much stronger student!

I believe that everyone should take time each day to read! Have you ever read the series Peter and the Star Catchers by Dave Barry? It is a fantasy series that explain how Peter Pan received his powers! As a 5th grade student, you’ll be expected to read at least 15 minutes each night in order to achieve your individual A.R. goal. So, you might as well start now!

                                    - Ms. Burgoyne

Hello future students,

I am really looking forward to hearing all about your summer adventures. I hope that you are having fun and enjoying the summer sun. I know I will be even though I will be teaching summer school. I will also take time to read and I hope you all are able to do the same thing!

                                    - Mrs. Lacek

Hello Fifth Graders (past, present, and future)!  I hope that you are enjoying your summer!  My plans are to spend a lot of time with Baby Nate and my wife Kristin, play a lot of ultimate frisbee, relax, visit family and friends in Alabama and Wisconsin, and of course READ READ READ as much as I can!  In between changing diapers and reading history books, I hope to be able to do some writing as well.  My goal is to have a rough draft of a book completed by the time school starts......we'll see.  I am looking forward to a new group of fifth graders in the fall!  Take care!
