Hi, my name is Veronica Hodges.  I was born and raised in the small town of Branchville, SC.  My hometown is well known for having the World’s Oldest Railroad Junction.  I am a graduate of Branchville High School and South Carolina State University.

I have been married for 21 years and have two children, Brandon (18) and Brittany (13).  My husband, Barry is a RetiredLieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.  We have lived in several states around the U.S. and in Europe.

I began my teaching career in 1999 and I have taught grades 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th.  This will be my 4th year at Magruder Elementary and I enjoy my job.

I am a big fan of watching my son play football and my daughter play basketball.  I also enjoy coaching, playing basketball, surfing the net, reading, and scrap booking.
