Welcome to Green YCSD, the official green web site of the York County School Division. The York County School Division, located on the middle peninsula of Virginia, educates 12,782 K-12 students over approximately 1.7 million square feet of building space. In addition to educating the students, energy conservation and pollution reduction are also priorities for The York County School Division for many years. The division sponsors this website to promote energy awareness and inform the community of the many earth friendly activities occurring in the school division.
