Individual
Counseling - Referrals result from the faculty, students
or parents arising from a need or a concern. Issues include
achievement, changing families, divorce, substance abuse, peer
pressure, social rejection, self-esteem, illness, harassment,
and dating issues. We often use strategies that include conflict
resolution, facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making
models.
Group
Counseling - This consists of special needs groups such
as anger management, stress management, peer relations, motivation,
family changes, and cultural issues.
Crisis
Counseling - Individual or group counseling as determined
by the emergency or by parent contact.
Group
Guidance - Topics include self-esteem, gifted issues, conflict
resolution, career information, and mental health issues.
