The York County Science Fair was held at GMS. All students participants did a great job and are to be commended for their superb efforts this year.

Andrew Luo- First place in computer science

James Zhang- First place in engineering, electrical and mechanical

Sophia Lin- First place in plant sciences and an award from Norfolk Botanical Gardens

Clarence Chang- Second place in computer science

Janine Elliott- Second place in engineering, electrical and mechanical

Abigail Chen- Second place in math

Meridith Popernack- Third place in engineering, materials and bioengineering

 Zachary Grigorian- Third place in environmental sciences

Erik Bauer- Third place in medicine and health sciences

Sarah Winkowski and Rebecca Meyer- Honorable mention in chemistry

Katie Brownschidle and Kendall Mahony- Honorable mention in earth and planetary science
