Dear Senior Parents:
Some of the best things in life are free, but for college or
training after high school, you will need money! College costs are at an all
time high, as is uncertainty among college students and their families about their
ability to pay for it.
Contrary to what you may have heard, help is available in the form of financial
aid. Billions of dollars in aid are available from federal and state
governments, private programs, and the colleges themselves. There is no
question that you can improve your chances of getting the aid you need by
learning about financial aid and planning ahead.

To apply for financial aid you must complete the FAFSA
either electronically at: www.fafsa.ed.gov or pick up a paper copy of the FAFSA
in the guidance office or at the local library. It is important that you check
with each college to which your student has applied to be certain of all
