Has Your Student Signed Up for an AP Course for the

2008-2009 School Year?

Grafton High School would like to invite you to attend an

AP Parent Information Night

On Thursday, May 8th at 6:30 p.m. in the GHS Auditorium.

If your student has registered for any AP courses for the

2008-2009 school year, it is imperative that you attend this informative program!

By attending, you will meet the teachers of the AP courses at

Grafton High School . They will discuss the course workload and summer preparation your student will need.

College-level AP courses give students the chance to study subjects in greater depth and detail. Through AP Exams, they have the opportunity to earn credit or advanced placement at most of the nation’s colleges and universities. Students get a head start on the same type of work that they will confront in college. Hopefully, they will develop the study habits necessary for tackling rigorous course work.

A high school program of high academic intensity and quality, precisely the kind offered by AP, is one of the most reliable predictors of college success.

With this in mind, please join us on May8th for this program.
