Grafton High School Guidance The guidance program at Grafton High School is a developmental and continuous process composed of a group of services enabling each student to recognize his/her abilities and interests, to develop them as fully as possible, and to relate them to life goals. It is an integral part of the school program and requires the cooperative efforts of teachers, administrators, counselors and parents.
The following services are provided:
- Academic Guidance: Guidance which assists students and their parents to acquire knowledge of curricula choices available to students, to plan a program of studies, to arrange and interpret academic testing, and to seek post-secondary academic opportunities.
- Career Guidance: Guidance which helps students to acquire information about the world of work and explore career possibilities.
- Personal/Social Counseling: Assist students in developing an understanding of self, the rights and needs of others, how to resolve conflict, and how to define individual goals that reflect their interests, abilities, and aptitudes.
