It's flu season.......the flu spreads through droplets from coughs and sneezes...  ...here are a few things all families can do to safe guard themselves and their schools.....we all need to follow  these simple, common sense practices.........  what should you do..........

 

·        don't cough and sneeze into your bare hands..........use a tissue and, throw it away and then wash you hands........ if no tissue is available sneeze into your sleeve...........

 

·        Wash your hands..........Wash your hands often.........

 

·        Avoid touching your nose, mouth or eyes.

 

·         get plenty of rest and drink plenty of fluids.

 

·        eat well, especially at breakfast.

 

·        don't share or refill empty drink bottles

 

·        exercise regularly

 

·        if you or your child gets sick......STAY HOME ......don't go out until you've been fever-free for 24 hours..............

 

·        if you get flu symptoms......fever, headache, fatigue and muscle aches.........call your doctor........... anti-viral medicines can make the illness less severe..........

·         let's all work together to minimize the effects of illnesses in our schools .......share these practices with your families and friends............stay well..
