Although all the bands displayed an inspirational musical talent, it was Taylor Shaw that was declared the “best band.”  Their originality and creativity stole the show and added flare to their performance. They wrote all their own songs and connected with the audience through their charismatic delivery. Band members (left to right) include junior Wayne Howard, senior Cody Bowers, junior Andrew Puffenbarger, and junior Brad Sturk.

Judges

Judges Holly Iberg, Jamie Jacobsen, and Quesuan Wigfall judged the bands on several categories, including originality and stage presence.

Hosts

Seniors Katie Francis, Rachel McGiboney, and Amanda Nelbach hosted the evening’s festivities. As hosts, they helped pump up the crowd to give specific bands bonus points. Bands could earn up to five extra points, depending on the volume of the crowd’s cheers and applause.
