Grafton High School Vision Statement
The vision of Grafton High School is a community of learners that fosters academic achievement, intellectual curiosity, mutual respect, physical development and cultural awareness in an integrated active learning environment.
PHILOSOPHY
There is just one reason for the existence of Grafton High School and us being here: to serve young people. We strive to deliver the best instructional services we can to graduate students competent to pursue further education or to secure employment; to develop their capacity to think critically and effectively; to broaden their perspectives about themselves, the human heritage, and the interdependent world in which they live.
We offer a broad range of instructional programs and extra-curricular activities so every student may have an opportunity to experience success in some part of the school program.
We work hard to do the best we can to make Grafton High a place every student feels good about coming to. Freedom and flexibility within well-defined limits describe our approach to creating a positive atmosphere where young people may continue their development to adulthood as responsible, productive, and socially concerned citizens in a democratic setting.
