The Ship’s Log has been part of the Grafton experience since its opening in 1996. Kellie Brumbaugh and Samantha Scotti, co-editors of the newspaper, head up the 2007-2008 staff.

The Ship’s Log is a student-produced paper which functions as a forum for student expression. It is an authorized publication for the students and faculty of Grafton High School. Contents of The Ship’s Log are not necessarily the official views of, nor are they endorsed by, the newspaper staff, Grafton High School, or the York County School Board.

All who wish to submit editorials or present any opposing opinion to an article printed in this paper are encouraged to submit pieces (with name, phone number and email address included) to Mrs. Flaherty-Nobile in Room 213 or to her email address (mnobile@ycsd.york.va.us). All submissions will be edited for content and are not guaranteed to be printed.
