Get Countrified! Halfway to Hazard, a band that recently released its first CD this August has a mix of the country sounds of Brad Paisley, the pop country of Rascal Flatts, and the rock of Bon Jovi. With the incredible voices and harmonies of the artists, Chad Warrix and David Tolliver, this newer band has guaranteed a spot at the top of the charts.
Produced by Byron Gallimore and Tim McGraw, Halfway to Hazard’s first CD has songs ranging from pumped up music, as in Countrified, to slower sweet songs like Daisy (which you may have heard on the radio), to the Southern pride shouted in Country ‘Til the Day We Die. While including religious tones, as in Devil and the Cross, this song is sure to speak of being “baptized in the whiskey river” with humorous undertones of this wild child born to a preacher.
While their music is still being launched to music fans, Halfway to Hazard has already been on tour with co-producer Tim McGraw and his wife, Faith Hill, on the Soul2Soul Tour 2007.
I certainly look forward to what they come out with next!
Be sure to check them out this summer, June 13 (graduation, seniors!), at the Verizon Wireless Virginia Beach Amphitheater, touring with the popular Tim McGraw and Jason Aldean! You can buy a solo ticket or purchase the 2008 Aaepecs Eye Care Country Megaticket which includes access to the concerts of the Charlie Daniels Band, Toby Keith, Brooks & Dunn, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, and Martina McBride!
