IPOP is designed to serve typically-developing children and children with special needs. Our IPOP curriculum will emphasize readiness skills and social skills.  Students in our IPOP will participate in all school-wide activities including Library, Art and Music class.

If you would like more information about IPOP, please click on the links provided.

Early childhood is a time for play and exploration.  IPOP will provide your child a language-rich environment and developmentally appropriate experiences.

Outdoor play is an important part of our day.  This is a time to work on our socialization skills, gross motor and fine motor skills.

Reading to your child is also very important at this age.  Please take time to read at least 15 minutes daily with your child.  It truly makes a difference.

Parents, please remember if you ever have any questions or concerns regarding your child's education, do not hesitate to contact me via email jmick@ycsd.york.va.us , note in zipper pouch or a phone call at 898-0324.

We are team in making your child's school year a successful one!

Jamie Mick
