Media Center Matters

Welcome to the Dare Media Site. The Media Center at Dare El. School is an extension of the curriculum and therefore seeks to have materials which support it

My name is Mary Jane Campbell and I have been the media specialist here at Dare for five years

This year Dare has welcomed a new para-educator to the media center. Her name is Penny Gilliland and she comes to us from a position as technology assistant.  We look forward to working with all the Dare students.

New announcements:

During these holiday and winter months, students have a wonderful opportunity to enjoy lots of new books. Books make an excellent holiday gift and students can gain pride in having their own home library.

The media center is continuing to purchase more AR tests and have recently received several new books. Please feel free to stop in and check the shelves for new arrivals.

Please encourage your children to return their books on time. When they have overdues they are unable to check out new books. Prompt return of their books fosters responsility. If they have lost their books please send in the replacement cost to the media center.
