National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities
  • Funded by the Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP), this website offers information not only on specific disabilities, but on the laws relating to the education of students with special needs.
  • This website also provides Fact Sheets covering a spectrum of 14 different disabilities ranging from ADD to Visual Impairments.  These fact sheets provide basic information regarding the understanding of such disabilities and more importantly how these disabilities might impact a child’s performance in the classroom.  These fact sheets often include tips for teachers and parents on how to get and provide needed services and supports for children with disabilities.
