When your child enters second grade these are some of the expectations of your child.   

·           Students should be able to write in complete sentences.  Write at least four sentences and stay on topic.

·           Be able to print all letters Aa-Zz neatly.

·           Be able to follow two step directions.

·           Accurately solve addition and subtraction facts 0-10.

·           Be able to read a book on their level with fluency and expression.

·           Your child will be expected to work more independently in second grade.  Be prepared! 

·           Have a positive CAN-DO attitude!
