Our library has a special program where students and parents can have a direct impact on the library collection.  Through the Adopt-a-book program you select a book for out shelves that would not otherwise be there.  Come to the library and choose a book you would like to see as part of our collection.  For a $10.00 fee, you can dedicate that book in honor or in memory of someone special.  Perhaps a good friend is moving or graduating—adopt a book in his or her name.  Say a special thank you to a teacher—adopt a book in their name.  Remember your child’s birthday—celebrate by adopting a book in his or her honor.  Your name and dedication will be placed in the front of your adopted book for all who read that book to see.
