One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish By Dr. Seuss

 

I liked when the blue fish was fat.

The white fish in the story reminds me of a fish I had and it died.

One of the fish in the story reminds me of a fish I named Chuck E. Cheese.

We all liked the rhyming words.

 

Duck on a Bike by David Shannon

This book was funny because all the animals were riding on a bike.

The animals stole the kid's bikes.

The kids didn't know the bikes were stolen.

The Biggest Snowball Fight!

This book reminds me of when my cousins throw snowballs at me

My mom and dad throw snowballs at me like the kids in the story.

I liked when the big glob of snow hit the mayor because my brother threw a big snowball at me and it hit my back.

It was funny when the kids had snow fall down their pants and did the snowball dance.

 

On The Go

I like the guy with the camel because he reminds me of a suit I have at home.

I like the safety stuff like the fire trucks.

The boat reminded me of when me and my dad went on a boat on my sister’s birthday.

I like the planes because they’re “flyable” and do lots of air shows.

The first page reminds me of my mom taking care of my little sister.  (The picture was of a mother in an African country carrying her baby on her back

 

 
I liked the bedroom picture because it was right.  The sun is bright and the picture is bright.  I liked the bright colors.
 
I liked the picture of the boy flying in his boxers.  It looked like it was a good dream.
 
I like the picture of the moon and stars [seen through the boys' bedroom window] because I like to look up at stars.
 
I like the page where the sun is rising because I like watching sunrises.
 
When the boy is in his cozy bed, it reminds me of my cozy bed.
 
I liked the bright painted pictures because you can see everything [details] in each picture.

 

Elmer

All the elephants were funny like Elmer.
Elmer reminds me of my grandma's clothes because they are colorful like Elmer.
I liked how Elmer tried to change into a real elephant and the real elephants tried to change and be like Elmer.  They tried to switch places.
Elmer reminds me of my grandma's shoes because they are colorful.
Elmer reminds me of a rainbow I once saw.
I liked the part when all the elephants were laughing at Elmer because they thought he was playing a joke, but he wasn't.
I really like the elephant parade because of all the colors.
Elmer likes to play jokes and I like that.

 

Recycle Every Day!

I like the book because I learned how things got fixed by recycling them.
This book reminds me of what I've been doing at home.  I've been cleaning up cans and I always put them in a bag after we finish our drinks.
I like all the parts because it was a cool book.

 

Charlotte's Web

I like Templeton because he is funny and messy.
I like Wilbur the best because he's a pig and he rolls in mud.
I like Charlotte because she is nice like me and my sister.
I like Charlotte because when she had her babies it was cute and sad because she died.
I like the part when Wilbur was crying.  He was crying because Charlotte told him that she wasn't going to live that long."  He was going to miss his friend.
I like the Geese the best because I like how they talk so fast.
Mrs. Arable reminds me of my mom because they are both mean.
I like when Wilbur goes to the fair and wins a prize.
When Charlotte had her babies, it reminded me of when my mom had my little brother.
Charlotte's egg sac is almost like a nest.
The Zuckermans' farm reminds me of a friend who swung on a swing, did a loop-de-loop, and threw up on someone.  Then, he laughed really hard.  I don't know why it reminds me of this, but it does.
