BHSABC promotes TEAM SPIRIT,
TEAM SPORTSMANSHIP, and SCHOOL
PRIDE!
The BHSABC assists the sports program by providing
equipment, uniforms, trophies and plaques for all the teams at BHS. We
organize the banquets following each sports season, and we also help
pay for hotel rooms and rental fees for athletes. Finally, we award
four athletic scholarships at the end of the school year.
WE WANT YOU!
Our goal is to have at least one parent per child
involved in BHSABC. A membership fee of $5.00 is all we charge to
become a member and 100% of that goes into the program! Membership
Applications are available at most sporting events, in the Main Office
at BHS and in the school newsletter.
A big part of our role is to man the concession stands
at all sporting events. Concession stand revenue is one of our biggest
sources of revenue. Volunteers are needed throughout the year for all
sports. If you work concessions then you don’t have to pay to get
into the game!
We also sell season passes for all regular season home
events. Again, this is another major source of revenue for us! If your
child is involved in more than one sport OR if you have more than one
child participating in sports, it SAVES to buy a season pass! We offer
student, individual, and family passes
Our biggest fundraiser is a silent/live auction. This
event is generally scheduled in March. If you would like to donate any
item OR to volunteer to help, please contact the BHS Athletic Dept.
More information about this event will be posted later in the year.
The BHSABC holds monthly meetings at Bruton. These
meetings are generally scheduled for the second Monday of each month at
7:00pm. We invite anyone interested in the sports program at BHS to
attend.
