Credits
Grafton High School has set credits for courses. Typically a year long class is worth one credit and semester courses are .5 credits. Some upper level courses are weighted.

Grading Scale:

Courses taught in York County middle and high schools are assigned grade-point values as follows:

A 92-100 4 points

B 84-91 3 points

C 75-83 2 points

D 67-74 1 point

F 66 and below 0 points

Class Rank

High School class rank is based upin the grades earned in courses for which high school credit is awarded. The Grade Point Average (GPA) for students earning non-weighted and/or weighted credit is calculated following a prescribed formula and established procedure found in the student handbook.

Verified Credits

When credit is not given students may repeat the course at no additional expense or plan on attending summer school which does involve tuition expenses.
