Mrs. Flood-Liggon is our administrative secretary here at Bruton High School.

Welcome

Bruton High School plans for a successful school year for each student. We believe what students gain from their high school experience is determined by their efforts and their willingness to become an active member of the school, taking part in school activities, and contributing to the many programs and events that make up Bruton High School.

Mission Statement

The Bruton staff strives to help each student develop the skills and knowledge required of productive members of society through:

  • Emphasizing studies in language, mathematics, science, social studies, the fine arts, physical education and vocational education.
  • Providing a focus on student achievement through appropriate classroom instruction.
  • Promoting positive concepts of oneself and others.
  • Encouraging a respect for the democratic process, including the worth of each individual and the rights of the group.
  • Supporting student involvement in school programs and activities.

Students, parents, and teachers share in the responsibility of achieving these goals. Students with the attitude that the 'future is now, sieze the opportunity' have a much better chance of success. Our school welcomes you and urges you to foster the spirit that has made Bruton outstanding.

Mrs. Fairfax recently moved here from Maine with her husband.  She is looking forward to working with the students, their families, and the staff here at Bruton High School.  Welcome to Bruton and Virginia Amanda!

Meet Mrs. Deborah White

Mrs. White is responsible for making all of the copies for all of the documents used in the building every day. She assists with answering the phone and putting mail in the mailboxes. If you call the office late in the afternoon, it will be Mrs. White who answers the phone.
